Happiness is (not) my cup of tea

Things are easier said than done. I hear people keep saying that all the time, that you should be happy, you should be smiling, but I personally think, if you always must try to be happy then it will also become nothing but stress. Having said that, I thought I’ve learnt to enjoy all the little things in life. In fact, I believe you will need some constant practice and certain effort to maintain your own state of happiness.

Sometimes, the act of enjoying a cup of tea is not as easy as we think. There were times that I try to make myself a cup of tea for me to enjoy, then every so often, the tea was too hot to drink at first, I found myself something else to do while waiting for the tea to cool down. Then while I was waiting, I got lost in doing other tasks and completely forgotten about the cup of tea that I made from the first place. I am sharing this from time to time to remind myself that my body and mind deserve to be taken care better.

How to drink tea – What not to do 🙂

No matter how busy we think we are, our physical body and mental health need relaxation, and that you need to enjoy your present moment while drinking your cup of tea without having to worry about the past or the future.

So happiness is your cup of tea, or not, it’s entirely up to you.
