Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, 29 April 2025 – Beyoutiful, in collaboration with Wiking Salon, proudly presents Amidst Green Grass, Beneath Misty Skies – a curated showcase celebrating the intersection of nature, culture, and creativity. Taking place from 23 April to 02 May 2025 at the Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon, the event invites viewers on a reflective journey into their intrinsic connection with the natural world. Through a multi-media presentation that blends visual art, traditional craftsmanship, and cinematic storytelling, Amidst Green Grass, Beneath Misty Skies continues the artistic narrative, culminating in the unveiling of Chula Cinema Collection on the night of 24 April.

Amidst Green Grass, Beneath Misty Skies brings together visual arts and craftsmanship to explore the quiet dialogue between nature and humanity. Through paintings, hand-crafted ceramics, and fashion pieces inspired by organic cycles, the exhibition reflects on how time, memory, and the natural world intertwine across generations. The showcase acts as a kind reminder that nature is not simply a backdrop to our existence, but a timeless force that nurtures, shelters, and endures beyond us.

Bringing together the visions of Nguyen Thuy Hang, Duong Thuy Duong, Hoang Anh, and Mifa, the collection offers a contemplative journey into the subtle beauty of the natural world through diverse expressions across canvas, paper, and craft. These visual expressions are accompanied by Chula’s archival collection Flower, where silhouettes and colours evoke the emotion of botanical forms through fashion; and by Bát Tràng Museum Atelier’s Blooming ceramics, which reimagine traditional craftsmanship in hand-painted detail. Together, the art pieces create a dialogue surpassing mediums, inviting viewers to reflect on the rhythms of time, the cycles of nature, and the ways human presence shaping yet also being shaped by the organic world.

Emerging from the poetic landscape of Amidst Green Grass, Beneath Misty Skies, on the evening of April 24, Chula Cinema Collection extends the artistic narrative into the world of movement and memory. Not only reinterpreting emotions from classic and contemporary films, but the collection also carries forward the exhibition’s reflection on time and nature, weaving their quiet rhythms into flowing, wearable forms. Through Vietnamese-Spanish craftsmanship, the collection transforms cinematic memories and natural rhythms into silhouettes that carry both nostalgia and the quiet beauty of life’s movement.

The showcase was brought to life at the Atrium Lounge of Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon, illuminated by CARA’s lighting artistry, adorned with COMAY’s natural craft creations, and complemented by curated culinary experiences from WINECELLAR and Lý Gia Viên. The journey continued beyond the evening through the storytelling of Saigoneer, Travellive and The Brand Promise.
